Branding: Timeless Design Statements
Statement Collectables required a visual identity that captured the sophisticated character of mid-century modern design. The objective was a brand that felt historically grounded and digitally current, appealing to high-end collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone who values the enduring quality of iconic vintage furniture.
The identity had to be as curated as the collection it represents, a versatile system that balances bold character with professional, clean minimalism.

The mid-century flare palette uses vibrant oranges and muted golds set against modern graphite and sandstone ivory, evoking a premium, retro-modern sensibility without leaning into pastiche.

Typography is anchored in Futura, honouring its modernist roots while integrating Futura Headline Now to carry the aesthetic into the present. The result is a clean, functional layout that holds its clarity across physical stationery and contemporary digital platforms alike.

The custom logo suite centres on a minimalist chair motif modelled on the Danish Modern No. 210 side chair, attributed to Farstrup Møbler or a closely related design by Arne Hovmand-Olsen. Geometric structure and tapered legs give it lightness and precision. The contrast of the orange upholstered seat against the dark frame silhouette makes it immediately recognisable as a brand mark, and as a statement piece in its own right.

The identity was applied across a full suite of touchpoints: tactile stationery with integrated QR codes, a high-conversion web interface, and an aesthetically considered Instagram strategy. We also developed the online store for Statement Collectables. Follow the links below to discover it on the web.

The result is a distinct, authoritative identity that positions Statement Collectables as a premier curator in the modern design landscape.
