Branding: Pure Design Craftmanship
Journeyman Collective needed a visual identity anchored in the spirit of craftsmanship and the strength of collective making. The challenge was building a brand that carries genuine heritage weight while meeting the expectations of a high-end professional market.

The identity had to feel as deliberate and sturdy as the work the collective produces, a system that holds a gritty, hands-on character alongside structured, clean minimalism without either quality undermining the other.

The colour palette draws from the workshop and the earth: deep industrial charcoals and iron greys set against warm timber tones and burnished copper. The combination is tactile and premium, honouring both material and craft.

Typography is built on a robust, geometric sans-serif. It provides stability and precision across digital and physical environments, giving the brand an authoritative presence whether it appears on screen or stamped into a workshop surface.

The custom mark functions as a literal maker's signature. Interlocking geometry speaks to the strength of collaboration; clean, heavy linework gives it permanence. It reads immediately as a seal of quality - and holds that reading at every scale.
